  The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. German chancellor flies to Kyi

After the United States, it is the European countries who are taking turns to intervene in the growing aggression from Russia towards its neighbors especially Ukraine. Germany is the recent addition to the list as chancellor Olaf Scholz landed in Kyiv to lead crisis talks.

On Monday the German official landed in the Ukrainian city for crisis talks as it found a ‘critical threat’ of Russian invasion. With his arrival, the German leader quickly talked to President Volodomyr Zelenskiy without wasting any time.

After the meet, he demanded a meet up with the Russian counterparts to explain why they have deployed over 100,000 soldiers at Ukraine's borders. European leaders have previously claimed that this threat is the worst crisis that can hit the continent.

This could also result in a cold war between two sides. The European leaders as well as the American side. The Russian president however asked for a rollback of the western interference in the matters of the eastern region.

They also stressed that Ukraine should not be joining NATO. The two sides are reluctant to step aside and are constantly aggravating the situation.

Earlier, Joe Biden had also warned the Russian president about possible sanctions by western allies if it keeps up its aggression towards Ukraine. The WHte house issued a statement warning Russia to back off as soon as possible to save itself from economic sanctions.

The Ukrainian leader also urged Biden to visit the country to show moral support however the White House did not make any mention of the situation in its readout of a 50- minute call. The US administration also stressed that all non-emergency staff must leave its embassy in Kyiv.
